** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox On maverick amd64, when playing the attached html and ogg file (from lp:qa-regression-testing) accessed via apache (ie http://127.0.01./...) , firefox will transfer all the data locally, but if you then click 'play' in the media player, totem crashes: [ 4715.613132] totem-plugin-vi[6637]: segfault at 8 ip 004125e3 sp 7fff2041f5e0 error 4 in totem-plugin-viewer[40+3c000] This was tested on lucid and maverick amd64 with the 3.6.11 build in the ubuntu-mozilla-security ppa. This time I it failed with an avi file when I clicked Reload during the transferring of the file, then clicked play - (the green triangle) in the media player. + (the green triangle) in the media player. This will sometimes work. If I + clear the cache and then navigate to the page, it works.
