Please capture the error_log anyway, even without errors. I want to see
which filters your print job use and with which parameters they get
called.

I have tried now to print the document with evince, on the HP LaserJet
3390 and P3005 with HP's PostScript PPDs for these printers and also on
the HP LaserJet P3005 with the PPD file for the P2055dn. To not waste to
much paper I always selected the pages 20-23 in the printing dialog. All
printouts
I tried many files. All print badly. I also tried to print from Acrobat,
Evince, OOffice. Same. Ill try to capture error_log and post it.
