Thanks for drilling this down. It surprises me that the installation of
jdownloader makes a difference -- or does the problem only occur when it is
running?
Either way, jdownloader is not an official Ubuntu package and because of this
the Ubuntu project can not fix your particular bug. Please
more like a broken configuration or a dropbox issue.

No, it is not a dropbox issue.
I created another user, reinstalled nautilus-dropbox, and the problem
doesn't show up.

I don't see anything immediately obvious from your list of installed packages.
To rule out your specific configuration and session: Could you create a new
user, log in as the new user and test whether you can reproduce the problem?

any other reports about this. Does the problem occur with all views in nautilus

I do have some messages concerning nautilus like:
