Things like MAAS, LXD, snaps, Juju and Ubuntu Core are really raising
the bar for operations and it's a pleasure to see folks enjoying them.

The leanest approach would be to use Ubuntu Core and the Docker snap.
Then you have a very tight, self-updating, secure host for Docker. I
know the Docker snap is in bet, but you can try it on traditional
("classic") Ubuntu server now and see what you think, then try it on Core.
