During the desktop team meeting today we discussed deprecated libs and
CD space, tomboy is keeping libgnome, libgnomeui, libbonobo,
libbonoboui, libgnomecanvas on the CD in oneiric and will until upstream
switches to gsettings which seems to have no mono bindings yet.
Since that work has
, and functionality for derived distros to push
their changes back up to us more easily.
That's a great list of features and will be very useful, thanks to all
the people who are working on that!

gdbus-codegen(1) was discovered and we decided to break API to fix it.
This means that code using the new D-Bus ObjectManager interfaces and
they care about,

upstream or somebody else pick it up and update the code.

We could say that uploaders should check the unapproved queue before
uploading a new revision of something in the queue and use -v, but
wouldn't it be simpler to just accept both versions and let launchpad
deal with the builds?

you should do some testing sooner next cycle? The bug has been
opened after the rc freeze, the gutsy milestone was not really realistic
from there

will not be accepted, the workaround
doesn't look right and the issue is only a cosmetic one and doesn't
impact the default theme. This could justify a gusty-updates stable
update but it would be better to figure why the icons look blurry and
fix that rather than using a workaround

the category. The comments there are interesting though. Why do you
think it's an issue? Do you find confusing to have the category unmasked
and containing only one item if you install vmware for example?
