Hello.

I faced a problem with the latest available (in Ubuntu Xenial) ntfs-3g
package. It was unable to mount large (3 TB) NTFS volume after one has
been used in windows 10 creators update.

The error message is "$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 28)" and it
states that it is necessary to perform chkdsk /f on that volume. But
even after this procedure the problem still appears.

I also have another ntfs volume, which size is 240 GB and it mounts
successfully with the current ntfs-3g package. Maybe the problem
appears only with very large volumes.

So I found this patch made for fedora:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=1370318 and applied it
to deb-src version of ntfs-3g and now it finally works. Can we make
this patch a part of officially supported ntfs-3g package for ubuntu
xenial and later?
