Hi all,
Is there any chance to get gnome-initial-setup integrated in Ubuntu
GNOME? Now it could be a little late but maybe for 14.04.
I think that is a great app for newcomers and to quickly setup GNOME for
the first time. But it's not available in the repositories (main, of ppas).
Just a s
+1 IRC Meetings.
Propose every other week and have a stantard day (eg Thursday) and time.
So everyone will know-remember about it automatically. So there will be
total 2 meetings per month.
Maybe when the release day will be closer, there might be the need to
meet often. We can discuss that.

PS. If you ask me, I think IRC would be an easier way to encourage people
to getting involved in this community.

Hello guys,
What's your oppinion? Should I install 13.10 as working system or do you
think 13.04 is OK? Right now I have 13.04 and it's kind of slow
sometimes and brakes time to time.
Using 13.10, I can find bugs easier. I use 13.10 on my laptop (not
everyday use though).
I use desktop for Int
Tim, I've just updated the access.pcx file to fix the fact that it loads
above a black background instead of our grey background; it now is white
icons in a black background. You can grab if from the Git repository.
Cheers.

Okay, even the fact I modified stdmenu.cfg in order to change the text
colour, it doesn't change at all, which isn't a big deal, the default text
colour looks nice. Having said that, I think that syslinux is ready to be
packaged.

Alfredo.

If someone wants to test it, just replace those files in your LiveUSB (they
are within the syslinux folder), and run the LiveUSB normally.

Lets get the images uploaded straight away. I suspect the colors
come from plymouth theme, but we can deal with that as a second

Hi all,
Syslinux (the boot screen that shows up when you run the LiveDVD/LiveUSB)
is almost ready. The images are ready, but I want to make sure all the
config files that contain the colours are right.
Here a sneak-peak (sorry for the bad quality):
