  Would  it be possible to update HAProxy to 1.8.7, despite the freeze?
  This is a stable update and it fixes some important bugs. In Debian,
  we kept previous releases in experimental for Ubuntu to not use them.

I went through the changes and it really seems bugfix only - I'd hope
