device driver is used in the live CD kernel. I attach the intalled

I have to remove the keybinding AND restart X before I can use it again.
What makes it even more annoying is that after assigning a shortcut
like: CtrlAltN, the entire 'N' doesn't work anymore. This renders
your desktop pretty unusable. Can anyone confirm this?

I have the same symptoms which are caused by mysqld crashing with a
signal 4. Can you take a look at your log file and see if you have the
same problem? Do the following:

Looking at the core dump data, I see that pDRIPriv is null, which is
plausible if one looks at the DRI_SCREEN_PRIV macro. I am therefore
trying to wrap all the pDRIPriv-... manipulations inside a if
(pDRIProv) clause.

Whenever I try to print a text file, it puts the text outside of the

password required, by changing /etc/sudoers like this:

then I cannot actually use it. In Dapper, clicking on the updates

I would like to verify that I observe this bug too. It's like
copy/paste functionality comes and goes. Sometimes, I can click away
from a document then refocus the window, and copy/paste will work again.
Sometimes, it works in some nedit windows and not others at the same

I downloaded ubuntu-6.06.1-alternate-i386.iso from this mirror, checked
the MD5, burnt the CD using burnatonce and Nero in windows. I did this
many times with many downloads...
I put the CD in the desktop system, and running the check, I see that
I get the same error.
I am installing on a iMac with first partition the bootcamp booter, then
the Mac OS on the second partition. I then have created 2 partitions,
one 14gb and one 1gb for saw.
Same thing happens installs along fine then gets right to the end and it
gives me the identical error

You should use sudo -s instead.
-s The -s (shell) option runs the shell specified by the SHELL
environment variable if it is set or the shell as specified in
passwd(5).
