List, I had to install GCC C compiler in Kubuntu 6.06, and found that it isn't installed with the default setup. I found out that GCC 4.0 base system (whatever that is) is installed. I used Adept to install GCC C compiler, assuming it would setup everything that I need to run C programs. You can
