I have an Audigy2 ZS card and an onboard VIA soundcard which is disabled
at the BIOS. I didn't get this problem in Hardy either, but got it in
Intrepid. My speakers are Z5500 from Logitech. AC3 passthrough is very

Hi there Bharat,
can you give a slightly more 'layman' instructions for downloading the
icons
? i couldn't see any other way to download the icons other than
downloading
each file individually.
There are a few ways you could download the entire
for something called 'code import'.
i have no idea what it is.
thank you. will try to read up on launchpad in the next couple of days.

can look,
you have done exceedingly well. There is always scope for improvement, but
your work has a lot of implications on the goal which sabdfl put for Ubuntu
- beat OSX in terms of aesthetics and looks.
Congratulations.

The actual theme page is at -
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Shiki-Colors?content=86717
Looks like the theme as two variants - one which depends on murrine SVN and
one which is pure clearlooks.
Do take a look at it.

I have installed the theme and modified the Window background color to a
more gilouche-ish shade (#FBF9F5)
I have attached a few screenshots -
Setup - Hardy Heron, Liberation Fonts, White on Black Terminal profile with
a slight transparency, the suggested icons (gnome-colors icons).

In these days i just took up Ken Vermette's mockup Kith Intrepid and made
a starting version of this theme using the new Aurora Engine. Actually
there's much to do to improve it, but actually i think looks nice.

I rmr cimi mentioning that current murrine-svn would be ready for release
sometime in middle of August. If that is the case, we can try and use it.

this is good. i believe the 0.4 update on the wiki at ubuntu.org includes
the 1 pixel black border between the toolbar and the folder area which i
mentioned sometime back. If that is included here, it would look even
better.

Also, I find the top bar merged with the menubar on inactive windows

Sorry, I meant 'Each tab and window border has a narrow

If you look at the Clearlooks Classic engine included in Gutsy, you will
know what I mean about the strip at the top of a tab. As soon as you select

I didn't know if it was okay to put screenshots of a Windows OS in the

author and do that. If it is okay to include those screenshots as
attachments to this mailing list, I can do that too.
