f-spot ignores both file access control lists and umask values when
writing new files.
Folders are okay, it's just that all new files are created 644, which is
a problem if one user imports or edits photos and another user (in same
group) wants to edit the same version

works for me, but this is a hack. Somebody fix this for real please!!
XFCE is ideal for use with VNC, and works well on CentOS and Fedora.
It's quite annoying to be so flaky on (x)ubuntu.
Running xubuntu 7.04 (fiesty) on a toshiba satellite a135-s2386 and on
an ECS k7som+5.c Duron 1Ghz
First logout will always hang on either machine, however ctl-alt-
backspace will kill the X server and result in a successful gdm restart.
After using ctl-alt-backspace, logouts work without issue.
