I can confirm this on 10.04.2 server edition. Removing motd.tail seems
to work.

I can also confirm this (using 10.04). I read this is becuase Apple
updated AFP to 3.3. Netatalk 2.2 should fix this. Is it possible to
backport?

I also have this problem on a 7.10 server edition. Anything new in the
matter?
Basically happens 2-3 times a month and usually when there is heavy load

I have the exact same issue. However, I just chmod vbetool not the be an
executable thus making it never execute on suspend/resume and voila
everything works. I mean everything, graphics, lan, I/O, display etc.
Seems I don't even need to use vbetool. Guessing the BIOS can handle
this stiff itself?
