Found a link to install acrobat in linux
Will send the link when when on a computer

Evince should have support for filling forms as well. Have you tried
okular as well?

is there any other way
- if any one is wondering why - there are some official (govt) forms that
need adobe reader to be used to fill in
any other advice would be welcome
