Hi James I was frustrated with HP and decided to get a low cost Samsung laser printer Got the Samsung ML 1676, its a sub 4.5 k It has been , surprisingly good, the Samsung driver is effective Have had no issues with it and in future would recommend Samsung printers that are rated as linux

I am looking to buy an entry level Laser printer for our basic printer needs. I know HP is well suported in almost all versions of Ubuntu. But a quick look at best sellers list in Laser printers, Ido not see many HP printers.
