We have just copied all OTA-14 images to the stable channels and
started the phased upgrade procedures as with every release. This
should take less then a whole day and all users should see the update
on their phones tomorrow at latest.

Thank you for your kind words. It's really hard to say when the switch
to snaps will happen. There is some base work that has been done
already but having an all-snap touch image is a bit more challenging -
especially when in this case all of our core components need to be

Apologies for the delay. We originally wanted to start the release on
the 6th as announced but it seemed to be a national holiday in Spain
(no BQ tech support available) so we had to move it by a day.
