LOL, hoping this doesn't become the standard :p
this is the kind of bug that really bugs people and make them run away from a
platform.
Tapping a text box again to reinitialize the kb should be the only trick... :)

You're missing the point, Canonical expressed they are not planning to enter
the hardware market. Planning a low end device to raise money for a high end
device is exactly that.
Offering the same device with a little less features or optimizations does't
equal entering the hardware market.
Yes. Shuttleworth has even said that the entire purpose of this campaign is to
judge if there's a market for super high end phones. Adding a mid range phone
just to make this campaign succeed does not measure the market appeal of the
superphones, and it doesn't make manufacturing those

Exactly, You CAN NOT get burned with this campaign, it has double $ back
warranty.
-The first $ back is if it doesn't reach the goal since it's all or nothing.
-The second $ back is that can try the device for almost a month and if you
don't like it, you can return it for a full refund:
On a large display, there is very rarely enough content to use the whole
screen. If you're using a 20 tablet, it's not for pleasure. It needs to use
multiple windows. This applies to the keyboard as well. The keyboard would be
too large to type on if you just stretched it out to a 20 screen.
Multi-window seems to becoming available on Android for tablets and mini-PCs:

Anything more wouldn't be good.
Well that mostly depends on the size of the tablet / touch screen.
There are more and more big ones / hybrids selling as home computers:
A 20 screen definitely qualifies for desktop mode. I don't think it would be
running tablet style at that point.
Then, I wonder what would be the case study for the ASUS Transformer AiO.
Just desktop mode?

There are a few BT clients that already have QT interfaces so maybe they would
be a bit easier to modify or port for ubuntu touch.

Also thinking about it, Transmission-QT might be a good choice since it will
probably come default on ubuntu-desktop-qt
then with the convergence you can switch from mobile to desktop (or viceversa)
and still have the same client, folders, downloads, etc.
Also the UI is one of the simplest imo.

I've also mailed the Devs in deluge mail list.
