[Ubuntu-sdk-bugs] [Bug 1544477] Re: No sound notification for new SMS (Ubuntu Touch)

2016-08-24 Thread Jim Hodapp
Added qtmultimedia to the affected list to capture future effort to more
permanently fix this bug. Recovery after a media-hub-server crash really
belongs in qtmultimedia so that every supported client is able to
continue playback even after a media-hub-server crash.

Bug description:
I noticed for last 2-3 days there is no sound notification for a new
SMS, but there's a blinking green LED notification. Also in the
indicator menu the envelope icon turns green and the new SMS is listed
as usual. Things are working alright for Telegram, Gmail etc.
  (sound+LED+indicator menu).

Device: bq Aquaris E5 HD, Ubuntu 15.04 (OTA-9)

  UPDATE: Screenshots get silent too.

[Ubuntu-sdk-bugs] [Bug 1611035] Re: Flickable AP CPO needs to take left and right margins into account

2016-08-24 Thread Tim Peeters
This is no longer needed. I now use displayMargin{Beginning,End} of the
ListView. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-ui-
toolkit/+bug/1611327

Flickable AP CPO needs to take left and right margins into account

Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
The new toolbar uses ListView (which is a Flickable) with scroll
buttons on top of it. This makes the current ListView CPO unusable
because it needs to take the overlaying buttons into account for
left/right margins for swiping and visibility calculations for items
in the ListView. This should probably be added to the Scrollable CPO
  (in _flickable.py).

[Ubuntu-sdk-bugs] [Bug 1616448] [NEW] [MIR] qtsensors-opensource-src

2016-08-24 Thread Timo Jyrinki
Public bug reported:

Availability: In universe, builds for all archs.

Rationale: A goal for Ubuntu 16.10 is to have unity8 installed by
default as an optional session. qtsensors is part of the stack that is
needed for this goal. Qtsensors was already in main earlier when
qtwebkit was, bug #1192567.

Security: No known security history. No daemons or services.

Quality assurance: No bugs open in Debian. A bug about certain tests
failing on builders is in Ubuntu (those tests only work in local
installations and are disabled with a patch). The latest upstream stable
LTS version is part of yakkety and upcoming Debian release. For yakkety,
we will not upgrade to Qt 5.7 but stay with the 5.6 LTS.

Dependencies: All binary dependencies are in main.

Standard compliance: Packaging seems compliant with 1 lintian warning.

Maintenance: Qt Company maintains qtsensors as an official module in Qt.
Qt 5.6 will be supported for bug and security fixes for three years.

** Affects: qtsensors-opensource-src (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Ubuntu-sdk-bugs] [Bug 1616425] [NEW] qtmultimedia does not recover after a media-hub-server crash

2016-08-24 Thread Alfonso Sanchez-Beato

qtmultimedia objects do not recover gracefully after the backend (media-
hub-server in our case) restarts/crashes. This forces library users to
re-create their qtmultimedia objects when this happens.

[Ubuntu-sdk-bugs] [Bug 1616376] [NEW] SubListItem [Feature Wishlist]

2016-08-24 Thread Morgan
Public bug reported:

Hello,

I would like to have a SubListItem feature.

The idea is : I need to use a category / subcategory system !
Currently there is no way to do it, except if a create a page for a category,
when I click on it, it open another page filled with subcategory !

But this approach is not convergent at all, maybe UIToolkit can provide
something that rock :-D
