I am seeing this error message very often too, when using sudo. It seems to be
caused by
the missingok parameter on the pam_smbpass line in /etc/pam.d/common-auth,
which
prevents excessive error logging when pam_smbpass isn't installed, but in turn
causes
the module to complain about this

The init script for nagios kills nagios when the user requests the
configuration to be reloaded. Nagios logs that it has received a SIGTERM
rather than the expected SIGHUP.
This appears to be a bug in the nagios2 (2.11-1ubuntu1) packages
closing the tasks to reopen bugs would create as much noise as closing
those when fixing the issues so you should probably just close those
when fixing the issues

i connected to a remote ubuntu pc (7.10) with a admin account using
supported version of ssh (up to date).
i simply write sudo halt to shutdown the remote machine.
the probleme is that ssh-client freeze instead of exiting. i reproduce
this many time.
