This definitely would be nice. Because I've been delinquent on getting
a replacement for ec2-version-query, its really not possible right now.
At some point, I hope to be producing something on s3 storage that is
web accessible and laid out like ec2-version-query, so this would be
easier to do.

/usr/bin/qemu: invalid option -- '-domid'
That's odd, as qemu doesn't have a feature domid. Even the
unavailable options are listed with qemu -help.
Are you sure to use the newly compiled qemu? which qemu will tell you.
Which sources are you using? I'm using the plain sources from
I'm pretty sure the problem I'm having is related to this bug, so I'll
throw in my two cents.
When I connect to a windows share on my Jaunty box, I use:
sudo mount -t cifs -o username=xxx,password=yyy //192.168.xxx.xxx/share
/mnt/share
