Just to let you know this is not unique to ubuntu or debian. I see what
appears to be the same one in Suse 10.1 (kernel 2.6.16.54-0.2.5-smp).
It is running on a SunFire server with 2x AMD Opteron 848 CPUs. This is
a no longer maintained kernel, it may of course have been fixed in newer
kernel

don't see a security issue because rpcinfo gives you the ports anyway,
