Bug #474107 does not fix it for me since libvirt itself (virsh) is using
-q anyway on new releases:

It seems that nc -q code is present on libvirt itself too:

apt-check hang entirely, but it is very slow to run, and blocks initial.
Note, you may have seen what appeared to be a hang due to the very bad
performance of security.ubuntu.com in the past few days. That
performance was due

config file, removing skip-bdb from /etc/mysql/my.cnf solved the
problem (this is because they removed berkeley db support in mysql)
