with a HUP signal to get it to recognise the new interface and start
issuing router advertisements (assuming it is configured in
'ignoreifmissing' mode).

Ok.
After extensive testing I found out that this had to do with the vnc_tls
parameter in qemu.conf.
If it is set to 1 it fails with the error message above.
I will investigate more and file a bug if its not just misconfiguration.

Yes, I meant MySQL was running before the OS upgrade. Actually there is
a log entry in VarLogDistupgradeApttermlog.gz which shows that it had
been running for about a month. I had the feeling that MySQL was stopped
by the upgrade script before the bacula upgrade, and indeed I saw a few
lines

I was just entering a bug for this, and it ended up being a duplicate.
The issue is the permissions on the rndc.key (/etc/dhcp3/rndc.key).
If the dhcpd user can't read it, the dhcp3-server fails to start on boot, but
still starts later if called from /etc/init.d or using the service command.
I have a similar issue,

Selecting 'PrintMotd yes' has no effect, I tried that already.
Choosing 'UsePAM yes' shows the Motd.
But: I don't want to allow logins using a simple password, but want to make
sure the exchange of keys is used.

Nope, not at all. Soren seems to have dropped off the face of the
earth. I've tried pulling down the latest version which supposedly
fixes this, but I haven't had a chance to work on it myself either.
