The problem is also occouring, if the bridged devices are not touched in any
case.
Nothing was happening on the host side - all though the problem occours
somewhat sometimes randomally.
That is a ver, very, very nasty DOS bug - makes lucid complete unusable
as virtual hosting plattform.
Intrepid is no longer supported, and if you want newer packages for
jaunty. You can ask for a backport, information can be found at:

usually you use the user user; stanza from racoon.conf in combination
with chroot path; so the unprivileged user gets chrooted into a clean
environment with limited privilegs. i dont think this is a bug.

I don't understand: why does it require an extension to SSH protocol?
Sure, one possible way would be to make ssh forward this bit of
information. However, the IUTF8 flag should be set consistently with the
locale (the character set part), which is not forwarded by ssh either -

shared printer following a reboot. I have added the workaround to

This is the same bug as 590570, but this one has been around longer.
I think the real issue underlying this bug is in bug 525154 which
relates to a race condition while starting portmap which in turn starts
statd. This only seems to be an issue if you have /var as a separate
mount point where

(though I faced the problem...)

Post 13 in bug 525154 above has solved the issue with statd, but now
autofs is failing to start. I tried to something similar with
/etc/init/autofs.conf but to no avail. Still no joy here.
k3nt-1 are you seeing the error messages in your /var/logs/boot.log file
that I posted above?
