Recent kernel changes are now causing this issue to appear in LXC containers
too where the libvirt mangle rule doesn't help at all.
As a result I'm now preparing SRUs for both lucid and precise so that all
supported Ubuntu versions know to deal with missing checksums.

At a glance, it looks like facter is not available in the load path of
ruby1.9. I'd start looking at the facter
