some parts fail:

reinstalled the package using
sudo apt-get --reinstall install powernap
hewre is the output:-

And, so far, these steps are needed each time I reboot. 2 reboots after
initial success.
As you suggested, stopping and restarting the lxc-net systemd job is
necessary. Just starting it does not work.

I've had this problem with every version of Ubuntu up to and including
15.04. Having a system that actually authenticates with NIS and allows
automounting when I log in always requires some kind of hack like this.

I highly fear that the code cannot be changed that easily because
Microsoft screwed up the RFC. The RFC
(https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4752#section-3.1) says:

The client calls GSS_Init_sec_context, passing in
input_context_handle of 0
Since 2.1.1-1ubuntu1~vivid1 is already in wily, I cannot accept this
into vivid. Can you change the string in wily to not include ~vivid1
