backing store for the new container. By default the same as the original
container's is used.". This sounds like if the original container uses
btrfs, the cloned container should as well.

1) patch all the sources to depend on php-
2) prepare src:php5 that just depend 1:1 on src:php7.0

There's no point in shipping both PHP5.6 and 7 given they're mostly
backwards compatible. PHP7 on 16.04; those who want PHP5 could either
PPA or remain on earlier versions of ubuntu.
