cloning and not updating the /etc/udev/rules.d/ to pick up the new interface as
eth0

Could you please test this again using the new gvfs, without "unix
extension = no" in the config file, and submit a new bug if this is
still a problem? To test with gvfs, simply go to the Places menu,
choose Connect to Server, and then fill in the information for your
Samba server.

DNS. Using 'smb:///' uses lmhosts. If you were to go to Windows
