Note that both clamav-daemon and freshclam are supposed to do the
removal of the pid file themselves, and indeed also freshclam does have
an unlink call. I'm not sure whether we are killing it in the wrong way
or running into some upstream bug. I'll try to investigate.

Looks fine from a MIR perspective. It has a test suite that isn't being

Can you be more specific on these security issues?
We don't ship a LSM out of the box (nor is there a quick and easy way to
set one up). LXC is the cloud computing solution for ARM until hardware
virtualization becomes available, and I was unaware of any security
concerns in using it.

I don't consider that correct. It worked fine prior to 11.04.
I consider this a regression, all that needs to be done is add a symlink

version used) and PHP is happy.

Thanks, I flushed out the previous PPA's and added that one. I see it

The samba package depends on:
* samba depends on libwbclient0 (= 2:3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.1~lucid~ppa1)
Which libwbclient0 is not on our servers. Did you build your package
some other way than the official Ubuntu 10.04
All right, I got the dependencies happy finally. Pulled down the
following packages:
libpam-smbpass_2%3a3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.1~lucid~ppa1_i386.deb
samba_2%3a3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.1~lucid~ppa1_i386.deb
samba-common_2%3a3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.1~lucid~ppa1_all.deb
I checked back this evening on this topic. Now I see Samba package files
at the URL in #15.
However Samba does not show up here:
https://launchpad.net/~clint-fewbar/+archive/mogile
So not a surprise that I am not offered to move to that build of Samba.
More assistance please.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: samba
This was not an issue with the Samba builds with Ubuntu 9.04 / 9.10. I
upgraded a couple of servers to 10.04 LTS (Lucid) and that upgrade
killed the Envelope Feeder on all three official / latest HP drivers
available for LaserJet LJ 4000 printers.

You're in business with the fix.

Public bug reported:
MySQL 5.5.8 was just released today, and I was wondering if it might be
possible to package that for Natty, or at least put it in a PPA
somewhere. I would do it myself, except they changed from GNU automake
to cmake for 5.5, and it is beyond my level of skill to update the
is not sufficient.
Imho the major problem here is, that there is a mixup between
dependencies that need to be satisfied to be able to run a job and
when (in which runlevels) to start a job.
