I've checked it, we have a puppet user in NIS but no puppet group. Btw. I
don't think that NIS is directly the problem, I would expect the same problem
with
ldap.
I think the script should check with getent if ther is a puppet user and only
if there is no it should create
the account.

The problem is triggered by the fact that there is already a user in namespace
(NIS), when
I comment NIS out of nsswitch I can install the package.
