I can confirm that the "noserverinfo" worked for me as well. Linux version 2.6.31-20-generic (bui...@crested) (gcc version 4.4.1 (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu8) )
I use my laptop in many different environments accessing NTFS shares on servers and workstations as well as a home CoolNAS (bare embedded solaris NAS with 250GB internal drive) Initial access to the mount without the "noserverinfo" option resulted in a blank window but subfolders could be accessed, if known. With the option, mount appears as it normally should. Thanks guys, I hope a fix is not too difficult. I've seen many "bugs" that the noserverinfo option has fixed. -- 2.6.31 - Can't see files in CIFS-mounted directories https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/406466 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
