I consider this as being a decent behavior, as dig does not find any IPv6 servers in /etc/resolv.conf and it has to use IPv6 only to connect. Using 127.0.0.1 as nameserver would mean ignoring the -6 option. If not too difficult, it would make sense not to query any servers and just throw a more
