I'm not sure how the nis or ldap packages would integrate with lightdm here. Could lightdm provide a .d conf directory, or just default to manual login when NIS or LDAP (or something non-compat in nsswitch.conf) is in use? ** Also affects: lightdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status:
