bug948993 asks for the deletion of *source* packages, because the
*binary* packages for rabbitmq-erlang-client and rabbitmq-stomp were
added, as a Delta, in the Ubuntu source package of rabbitmq.
Meaning that those packages were no longer source packages shipping 1
binary package, but
I see rabbitmq-server 2.8.4-1 is available in Qualtal A2, but rabbitmq-
erlang-client and rabbitmq-stomp are still available as well and both
fail to install. bug948993 comment15 and 16 made it look like they were
being deleted.

Hi Dave, the rabbitmq-server package ships with all plugins since
version 2.7.0. I agree there is no reason to single these two out for
special treatment. I assume these Ubuntu packages predate 2.7.0.

I see that the Qualtal release schedule marks today as Debian import
freeze. Does that mean that rabbitmq-server v2.8.4 has missed the boat
to be in Qualtal?

Ubuntu-specific patches have been incorporated upstream, so this request
is a sync rather than a merge. Those include emitting upstart events for
MAAS and the use of start-stop-daemon.
