Interacting starting BackupPC using the init script result in the
following warnings to be emitted:

  * Starting backuppc...
 Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at 
/usr/share/backuppc/lib/BackupPC/Storage/Text.pm line 302.
 Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at 
/usr/share/backuppc/lib/BackupPC/Lib.pm line 1425.

This is easily fixed as done in Debian version 3.2.1-4. This means that
right now, Quantal and Precise (maybe older) releases are affected by
this.
