Public bug reported:

Walking through the getting started guide to set up a simple ceph
cluster I hit problems because "ceph-deploy mon create" fails when
trying to add additional monitors after the single initial monitor is
started. (This path occurs if the test setup is not perfect initially
with 3 nodes from the start, likely during user's first steps in setting
up ceph.)

Log entries from node 2 after startup:
2013-07-08 10:59:18.008373 7f6dc1ce8781 0 mon.ceph-test-2 does not exist in
monmap, will attempt to join an existing cluster
2013-07-08 10:59:18.008862 7f6dc1ce8781 -1 no public_addr or public_network
specified, and mon.ceph-test-2 not present in monmap or ceph.conf

The workaround for this, adding public_network to ceph.conf, causes an
assertion failure . This has been fixed upstream in bugfix #5205.

Can we please have this fix #5205 from ceph in the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Grizzly packages?

I'm currently running 0.61.4-1precise.

The fixed issues upstream are:

http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/5195
"ceph-deploy mon create" fails when adding additional monitors

http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/5205
mon: FAILED assert(ret == 0) on config's set_val_or_die() from pick_addresses()

** Affects: ceph (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
