Which release are you using? qemu-kvm currently exists only for vivid,
but I believe that change may end up SRUd for trusty. I'm going to mark
this bug as a duplicate of 1389897 which is where this was
Ok but how do we solve the problem with packages that have qemu-kvm as
dependency? The installation is breaking if I pick Virtual Machine
Host group and I think a lot of package will ask qemu-kvm to be
installed, right?

Looking at x86. qemu-kvm contains files for SPICE qemu, as you can see:
# dpkg -L qemu-kvm
/.
/usr
/usr/bin
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/qemu-kvm
/usr/share/doc/qemu-kvm/NEWS.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/qemu-kvm/copyright
/usr/bin/kvm-spice
/usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64-spice
qemu-kvm does exist for ppc64el:
http://ports.ubuntu.com/pool/main/q/qemu/
qemu-kvm is a different source tree which was used through 12.10.
** Changed in: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu)
