looks like you have Apache installed. Nginx won't start if port 80 is
bound to, but without the additional bug information I can't determine
if that's the issue (though it's likely one of the main culprits)

I did not install nginx because I do not need it, now. Then with

Also, please refresh your apt information with `apt-get update`; there
was a recent upload of nginx 1.9.10-1ubuntu1 which addresses security
issues as well as other fixes, and it is necessary to test that version
rather than the older 1.9.9-1ubuntu1 which you are attempting to
install.
