Any progress about this issue?
I've got the same problem when trying to install mysql-server - it fails at
confiuguration time.

I don't know. I haven't tried to install it in some time, a month or
so perhaps. I will try again tonight and let you know if it still
fails.

action has been taken because the requested information has not been

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Ubuntu Hardy *.04
2. Update all
3. Try to install MySQL via Synaptic
4. Watch it fail
5. Disable AppArmor, and watch MySQL start OK.
