Hi Brad, you are mixing 2 things: - the nut "classic" package, which provides a complete framework for acquiring data over serial/USB/network (XML/HTTP, SNMP) - the nut-hal-drivers, which only includes the modified USB drivers, feeding HAL and Gnome Power Manager.
Both are mutualy exclusive: you will either need one or the other, but not both at the same time. So both packages have a Conflicts field with the other... If the above is confirmed, the bug has to be closed. If you otherwise have a specific need that is not addressed with the current set of packages, please explain it so that we can work it out. cheers, Arnaud -- Linux / Unix Expert R&D - Eaton - http://www.eaton.com/mgeops Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader - http://www.networkupstools.org/ Debian Developer - http://people.debian.org/~aquette/ Free Software Developer - http://arnaud.quette.free.fr/ -- nut & nut-hid-drivers remove each other https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/334932 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nut in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
