Another editor I would really like to be able to save files is Diffuse.
But every time I edit a file in the program it does not allow me to save
the file. It allows me to create anew version of the file (Save as)

Its been a long time since I provided the info required and nothing has
been done about this... I still have this problem and I think it is a
major problem!
No one else has experienced the same problems?

Anyone can help? Still having the same problem...
The volumes can be mounted and edited in gedit and on the terminal but other
editors such as eclipse say the files as read-only...
I do not think this is a low importance bug... I did not have these
problems in 9.04 but only in 9.10 so something
