Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nagios3
Since Lucid Lynx (Nagios 3.2.0) a "+" character in a service description causes an error on web interface: example url: http://servername/cgi- bin/nagios3/extinfo.cgi?type=2&host=Server&service=Temp+Hum error: "It appears as though you do not have permission to view information for this service... If you believe this is an error, check the HTTP server authentication requirements for accessing this CGI and check the authorization options in your CGI configuration file." Nagios is starting without any problems, all other services works fine, contact group is correct.
