Binary package hint: nagios3
Nagios3 install on a fresh system does not include the nagios3-cgi even
though it says it is installed. Was installed using "apt-get install
nagios3"

Files are actually installed
/usr/lib/cgi-bin/nagios3/
The url nagios3/cgi-bin/status.cgi works but /nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi
does not work and you are accessing it by clicking on the host detail
link from /nagios.
Seems like there is no /etc/apache2/sites-available/nagios3 to setup the
nagios install on the apache web server.
