I'm not sure the best way to go about this, but this package (5.3.5-1 in
debian) will need to be synced before freeze so that we can have
php5-fpm back into natty. Right now, php5-fpm is not available (probably
since 5.3.3-2).

Thanks for you work on this - I would really urge you to rather
contribute patches and work with the Debian PHP Maintainers team. PHP is
fairly important to many users, and many applications are build against
it (phpldapdamin, phpmyadmin ++ many others).

I've created a branch based on the Ubuntu natty branch:
lp:~legolas/ubuntu/natty/php5/5.3.5
I'm actually also a Debian user, but I don't know how I would create
such a branch for Debian. Altough I suspect that porting this is not
that much work, and the actual work will be in the testing phases.

And yet again I am going to repeat myself - pushing new upstream
versions to repository is not that important as triaging and fixing
existing reported bugs on php5.

Note that with such a large set of changes, it may be best to
collaborate directly with the Debian php maintainers rather than us
importing this version before them. There may already be work done in
