Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: qemu-kvm

UBUNTU 10.04 AMD 64 bit:
I have been running a trixbox 2.8 KVM guest on my system since July 2010. This
system has worked flawlessly up until this morning. I had a notification that
my system needed a reboot, following which the trixbox guest hangs on startup.
I have after a number of hours found a workaround which is but there may be a
serious regression here bought in by this recent update. My work around
involves adding "clock=acpi_pm" to the guest boot command. The freeze appears
to hang just after "kvm-clocksource has been installed messages". The guest
is using 100% cpu on the host. I am not aware of any other changes to my host
system so suspect the update has caused this.
