Public bug reported: package Nagios3 is outdated even on oneiric. It's installed Nagios3 version 3.2.3. The most actual version since July 2011(!) is 3.3.1 as stated on the projects website: http://www.nagios.org/checkforupdates/?version=3.2.3&product=nagioscore
Since there are various fixes and patches including some enhancements in my humble opinion it would be a good idea to upgrade to version 3.3.1 and not keeping 3.2.3, at least for oneiric.
