sessions often hang when using routers or network equipment which do not
respect idle connections and therefore need up to 30 seconds to come up
/ synch again.

debdiff and filed it or is this your only version of it? Asking as this
needs more work before being integrated.

in the online manual and in the various manpages. The ldap-utils have a
short description of the -d option. I think this is enough.

characters need to be escaped. This are not only brackets, but also

oh - sorry, you mentioned upgrading from 7.10 so I assumed you were
running 8.04. Yes, for 8.10 and above the default samba client behavior
matches upstream's, and doesn't allow insecure security=share
connections by default.

Have you tried renaming the S20quagga file to S19quagga. Looks like the
big issue is the good number of init scripts are labeled S20, so it's
just a matter of who has alphabetic priority.
