I just added your PPA to our dual quad-processor system, and
successfully booted a Server 2008 VM with 6 vcpus attached. Everything
appears to be working well, and I'll be leaving the PPA in please until
it's SRU'd or the next LTS comes out.

I switched networking back to NAT and repeated the svn co to verify the
problem still exists. It does. Then I tried the wget operation 5 times
and all of them succeeded.
I also verified that we're using the same default.xml configuration. They're

No. This was during a maintenance update of a running Lucid (10.04)
system. autofs5 had been running on the affected machines for months.
The previous version of autofs was 5.0.4-3.1ubuntu5. (Without the .1 at

Hi Steve. I observed that my Ubuntu 10.04 system would wait for an
indefinite period at start-up if there was no available non-loopback
interface available. I presumed this was a bug related to the upstart
job for nmbd.
