I can confirm that this is still an issue in Lucid. This was not an issue with Hardy. Setting group: files nis in /etc/nsswitch.conf causes all of my NIS groups to show up. Setting this to compat causes one of the NIS groups to go away. I'm not sure why only one of the groups goes away.
