thanks i am going to try taking eucalyptus out and then putting back after i

On 10.04
Netstat give me no listen on port 53 for dnsmasq after the reboot.
Installing with apt-get libvirt-bin dnsmasq dnsmasq-base give me no
error's. But no virbr0!
So setting up virbr0 with the command virsh net-define default.xml en
virsh net-autostart default is ok. But net-start default
tested the SRU: installation completes without error with 'ftpfoo' and
'ftpbar' defined as users (and respective groups).

I think this will be solved more elegantly with multiarch :-)
This bug was wontfixed at a time where a solution didn't seem anywhere
near, but it would be interesting to revisit this once fakeroot is
rebuilt against a multiarch loader

If I understand you right, this failed upgrade happened while you had
/etc/init/squid renamed to /etc/init/squid.disabled. If you move it
back to /etc/init/squid and then do
